Agricultural and Rural Organizations
Endorse Our Campaign!

I'm excited to announce the support of three major rural organizations that are important to our district!

“Rep. Simpson was a strong advocate for agriculture and private property rights last session. As a timber producer and someone who has dealt personally with eminent domain abuse, he understands how important the industry is to East Texas, and how important the ability to protect the rights to land is to our members. We hope the voters of Gregg and Upshur counties will send Rep. Simpson back to Austin to continue the fight for private property rights.”
- Texas Farm Bureau AGFUND President Kenneth Dierschke

“Rep. David Simpson has a very strong voting record defending rural Texans and agriculture," said Upshur County chapter President, Jimmy Shipp. "We could not ask for a better friend of rural East Texans in the House than David Simpson.” Rep. Simpson scored a 90% on the scorecard published by the Texas Farm Bureau AGFUND for the 82nd Session.

"Rep. Simpson believes in free enterprise and protecting private property rights, two things critical to the success of the Texas cattle industry. He will continue to be an advocate for the issues important to the cattle industry, which is why the TSCRA PAC supports him.”
- Joe Parker Jr., Texas and Southwest Cattle Raisers Association president

“David Simpson shares the same values as TFA. He is dedicated to the protection of private property rights and understands what it takes to balance a budget. We support his re-election campaign.”
- Ron Hufford, Executive VP of Texas Forestry Association

As an East Texas landowner and farmer myself, I understand the needs of and the circumstances that face our rural district. Agriculture is an important business in our district and our state, and I intend to make sure that we keep it safe from government meddling or attacks on property rights, the core asset of agriculture.

For Texas and Liberty,

David Simpson
